How it works

Four simple steps

1

We organise the evening

  • Venue and supplier coordination
  • Group booking setup
  • Family-facing information
  • Booking terms and privacy note
2

Parents book individually

Parents and carers choose their places through one simple link. No PTA payment collection, spreadsheets or chasing.

3

The PTA benefits

Each place includes a PTA contribution, recorded separately. After the evening, Skovan provides a clear summary showing places booked and the amount raised.

4

Everyone enjoys the evening

Families attend together and the school community connects, so the evening feels social rather than transactional, with thoughtful seating and classmates considered where possible.

For PTAs

Built for busy PTA committees.

Skovan removes the admin that usually stops cultural evenings from happening, so volunteers can simply share a link and enjoy the event.

Frequently asked questions

Can children attend?

Yes. Skovan organises family-friendly theatre and cultural evenings where parents and carers book places for their own children and guests.

Does the PTA organise the event?

No. The PTA can help share the booking link, but Skovan handles bookings, payments, ticket coordination and parent support.

Who supervises the children?

Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising the children and guests in their own booking group. PTA volunteers are not responsible for supervision.

Can I bring other family members or friends?

Absolutely. You can buy places for relatives, friends and your child’s friends, including families from other schools. Everyone is welcome, and the more places we fill, the more your PTA earns.

What happens if an event doesn’t reach the minimum?

The event does not proceed and parent payments are refunded in line with the parent booking terms.

Can we sit near another family?

Parents may add a note when booking. Seating is arranged thoughtfully and classmates are considered where possible, though exact seat requests cannot be guaranteed.

How does fundraising work?

Each place includes a PTA contribution, recorded separately. After the event, Skovan transfers the agreed contribution to the PTA and provides a short summary.
